I hope you're all having a great festive period!
So, firstly a bit of an update regarding Kombucha and how it's going on that front here at Kin. It's been a pretty steep learning curve. We've had a significantly large batch die, which was sad, and concerning the lag time in making the tea, I didn't plan to make enough tea to keep up with demand. We briefly sold the drink over the last few weeks, and it's been received extremely well by you guys.
In light of this, we've bought a 20ltr brewing vessel, which should see us ready to aid your healthy recovery period come January. On top of to this, we've started brewing a green tea Kombucha using Postcard Teas' beautiful supernatural green tea from Japan, all very exciting.
On another note, we're now serving a lovely Lapsang Soughong in addition to our already flourishing tea list. Come in before our chef drinks all of it!
With Christmas being so close, we've added a bunch of goodies to our retail tea and coffee section, which in case you didn't know is situated on the wall opposite the coffee machine. This provides you with a chance to purchase some lovely gifts for your friends and family. We are stocking every tea on our list, so it makes for quite an extensive array of styles and origins. Please come in and have a browse, and feel free to ask our staff about them. As for coffee, we have our five current varieties from our supplier, the amazing Clifton Coffee Roasters in Bristol.
This Friday will be our last day open before we close for the holidays, so be sure to come in before then if you'd like to buy any presents.
Have a lovely Christmas,
