New Guest Espresso, and Introducing Our Brand New Filter Method


Hello again!


We're proud to report that your reaction to our new ordering procedure using Bar Pass has been a real success. With more people signing up daily, less queueing, less waiting, and less money, how could it go wrong?


This week, our guest espresso offering involves two very different coffees. Kebel Kebado hailing from Ethiopia really packs a punch with notes of tropical fruits and hops on the nose balanced out by lovely stone fruit sweetness. This really is a great example of a clean, naturally processed coffee, not too funky, no notes of manure! This is the last of it before the new crops come in so grab it before its gone! Our second coffee Fazenda Pedra II hails from Brazil. Here we have salted caramel, peanuts and chocolate. This is a real dessert of a drink with milk.


We're also reintroducing our filter offer after a brief hiatus. We've just purchased a moccamaster coffee brewer to replace the aeropress. Though we love to aeropress, the process is time-consuming, not cost-effective, which therefore incurs an extra cost to you, the customer. Future plans involve purchasing a fetco batch brewer, but in the interim the moccamaster will be used to provide filter coffee en masse (with a small ‘m’). This means cheaper delicious coffee all round, so expect much more coffee coming through Kin's door.
